OASI – a progressive step backwards
The public’s approval of the OASI reform in the autumn of 2022 marked a step forwards in the efforts to secure financial stability by 2030. However, the introduction of a 13th OASI pension payment, which was approved by popular referendum in the spring of 2024, raises new questions about long-term financing and pension security.
Occupational Pensions Act (BVG) reform – what’s next?
The BVG reform mainly concerns the mandatory portion and has no appreciable impact on PensExpert clients. Our solutions for specialists and managers with PensFlex (1e) and PensUnit are non-mandatory.
One of the main objectives of the reform is to strengthen pension provision for part-time workers. The effort involved in the reform is very high. Due to the persistent shortage of workers, many employers are already taking responsibility for this rapidly growing group of people. Security – especially towards all employees – is one of the main corporate responsibilities and should not have to be imposed by the state.
For 24 years now, our tailored, individual pension solutions have made it possible to take personal responsibility and thus guarantee security and stability in your retirement provision.
Many thanks for placing your trust in us.
