Opening of new office in Bern: A short interview with Nadia Bögli and David Coppola, joints heads of the Mittelland Region

Nadia and Davide have been steering the fortunes of the new PensExpert location in Bern as co-location managers for over 100 days. With their many years of experience in financial planning and corporate succession as well as a clear focus on innovation, they have already achieved their first successes in a short space of time. In this interview, they share their insights into the first few months of their work, report on the challenges and opportunities of their new position and explain how they are strategically driving the Bern site forward with new services. Dear Nadia and Davide, you have been in charge of the new PensExpert office in Bern for around 100 days. Please tell us about your experiences during this time and what has particularly impressed you.

Nadia Bögli It has been very good. PensExpert attaches great importance to its employees and is very appreciative towards them. The corporate culture is exemplified with respect at the highest level.

What new services do you offer at PensExpert?

Davide Coppola Our focus is on personal pension provision and financial planning for entrepreneurs, tailored to their private situation. Early preventive measures make the succession process easier, especially from a tax perspective – supported by the expertise of our tax specialists.

How is Bern reacting to the new market player?

Davide The response has been overwhelming. We are proud to be close to PensExpert’s clients in Bern too now and to have already achieved some initial successes.

What is your personal recipe for success when it comes to a smooth succession?

Nadia Our many years of experience enable us to tailor our «menu» individually to the needs of our clients. We analyse their finances – as a starter – clearly and comprehensibly.

For the main course, we work with our network to develop specific proposals for implementation. Our focus is on achieving financial targets and, as a dessert, successfully shaping the transition to the client’s new phase of life.
